Welcome to the website of St Moluag’s Church
or Teampull Moluaidh
as it is known in Gaelic
The church of St Moluag has stood in Eoropaidh on the north coast of the Isle of Lewis for centuries
St Moluag was a 6th Century Irish Saint
and a contemporary of St Columba
By the 19th century the church had fallen into ruin
but was restored in around 1912 and today is
a very special place of worship of the Scottish Episcopal Church
We hope you will enjoy exploring these pages about our very special little church and about St Moluag
